www.bluewatercountrymusic.com.au                     Steve Passfield Will be in the foreshore marquee Saturday and Sunday June 8-9 with many other guest performers               Blue Water Country Music Festival   Port Stephens is one of Australia’s great holiday destinations just one hour north of Newcastle and two hours north of Sydney on the NSW North Coast and is the home of the Blue Water Country Music Festival . In 2006 the Blue Water Country was introduced into the Australian Country Music calendar on the June long weekend at Port Stephens and Nelson Bay.  The Festival has grown and evolved to offer a unique experience to visitors with competitions like Gum Boot Throwing in the beach to Bootscooting in the streets.   This festival is a unique concept in Country Music, with the efforts of the organisers to ‘Bring the Country to the Coast’. We are keen to support young upcoming artists and as such many rising star perform at our festival. This year new to the program are Thor Phillips and Dane Sharp and we are welcoming back seasoned talented performers like The Harmonators who are performing on d'Albora Marinas.
