The Harmonators have appeared at previous festivals

Together for 5 years, Rae Moody, a 2007 CMAA College of Country Music Graduate and 2007 Toyota Star Maker Finalist, together with Liz Kinninmont, make up this exciting duo. 2006 was an exciting year for The Harmonators, with the release of their self-titled debut EP featuring the first single ‘I Forget’. The single secured spots in both the Top 20 CMC Video & the Top 100 Country Hits charts, it also earned The Harmonators a TIARA Awards nomination in the Duo category.
Their second single ‘Wish I Didn’t’ written by Liz, was named a finalist in the 2006 TAS & New Zealand Independent Songwriting Awards in the Recorded Section and named a Top 20 finalist (#18) in the 2006 Musicoz Awards for Country Artist Of The Year. The single also charted on the Top 50 CMC video (#32) and Top 100 Country Hits charts.
Liz & Rae were nominated as finalists in the 2007 Coopers Golden Saddle Awards and the Inaugural Horsham CM Awards for Independent Vocal Group Of The Year.
2008 saw Rae & Liz return with their first single ‘Don’t Come Back’ hitting Top 20 on both the CMC Video and Top 100 Country Hits (#15) charts, as well as Top 30 on the Country Tracks chart from their debut album ‘Here And Now’.
The album is contemporary country, showcasing songs written by Rae & Liz, such as ‘Don’t Come Back’ and ‘No Limits’ (co-written with Darren Colston), and include songs penned by Mark O’Shea, Felicity Urquhart, Sam Hawksley and Grammy award-winning Randy Scruggs, with ‘If Love Ain’t Crazy’, ‘Tomorrow Never Knows’ and ‘Nowhere Bound’.
The 2nd, 3rd and 4th singles off the album have all charted with ‘If Love Ain’t Crazy’ spending 3 weeks at #6 on the Top 30 Country Tracks chart.
The last 12 months has brought The Harmonators many award nominations. They have received nods in the Southern Stars Independent CM Awards, The Victorian and National CM Awards, a finalist for The Golden Saddle Award and were named Best Duo at the 2009 TIARA Awards.
The album shows The Harmonators in a new light, under the production of Matt Fell (Sara Storer / Jonah’s Road) and Michael Carpenter, confirming the duos transformation into a new phase of their career.
Their harmonies are beautiful, natural and melodious, and raise the bar for the duo’s success.
